Abstract
The average prevalence of cesarean birth rates in the world has exceeded the limit set by World Health Organization (WHO), one of which is Indonesia. Caesarean delivery causes pain because it disrupts tissue continuity. If pain is not treated properly, it can cause many problems, one of which is disruption of early breastfeeding initiation which causes problems in the process of breastfeeding babies. Handling ineffective breastfeeding problems with non-pharmacological therapy, this study will discuss Oketani Breast Massage (OBM) therapy or Oketani Massage which is a painless breast care technique that involves massaging the breast area. This study provides an overview of nursing care for post-cesarean mothers who are given Oketani Breast Massage (OBM) therapy to increase breast milk production. The results obtained in managed patients obtained effective results in breast milk production and Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy which describes the level of mother's confidence in breastfeeding her baby. This proves that Oketani Breast Massage (OBM) therapy is effective in overcoming ineffective breastfeeding problems.
