Abstract
Childbirth is an important event in a woman's life and involves psychological and physiological processes that are influenced by social and environmental factors. One of the delivery procedures is a caesarean section. Caesarean section is a surgical procedure that can only be performed based on certain medical conditions which can cause injury to the mother's abdomen with the aim of expelling the fetus. This case study aims to analyze the application of Evidence Based Practice in the form of Aromatherapy and Su Jok therapy interventions in patients with pain problems caused by abdominal wounds after caesarean section surgery. This case study involved two post-caesarean section patients with indications of preeclampsia, threat of prematurity, and PROM > 12 hours with pain intensity in both patients reduced after aromatherapy and Su Jok therapy for three days of intervention with patients managed from scale 7 (severe pain) to scale 5 (moderate pain) while the patient resumes from scale 6 (moderate pain) to scale 4 (moderate pain). It is recommended that post-cesarean section mothers who experience pain use aromatherapy therapy and Su Jok is a non-pharmacological therapy that can help reduce the intensity of pain.
