Abstract
The Jatayu BC website is an information system owned by the Cilacap TMPC Customs and Excise Service Office which has been used since 2020 in terms of import export licensing process. From the pre-research observation and questionnaire results, several problems were found to be felt by Jatayu BC users, such as features that have not functioned properly, unresponsive pages, monotonous and boring designs, and others. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the user experience in Jatayu BC to find out the level of user experience in using this system. The evaluation was conducted using the User Centered Design framework and the User Experience Questionnaire method as questionnaire aids that facilitate the measurement of user experience involving all employees, namely 41 respondents. Through the UEQ method, the evaluation results show that the Efficiency scale is in the Above Average category (mean 0.68), while the Attraction Scale (mean -0.44), Clarity (mean -0.04), Precision (mean -0.24), Stimulation (mean -0.23), and Update scale (mean -0.37) are in the Bad category. Design improvements were made by focusing on optimizing menus and key features to make information to users more effective and informative. After the interface improvement on the JatayuBC website, the benchmark average score comparison chart of the entire assessment scale is in the Good (good) and Above Average (above average) categories with an increase in average difference value > 0,8 in every aspect that represents a positive evaluation so that the results of the improvement of the JatayuBC website interface can provide a better user experience than the current JatayuBC website and can be a reference in the development of the JatayuBC website for the better.
