Abstract
Interpersonal communication is needed in a marriage that is making adjustments at a marriage age of 0-5 years so that the relationship can develop and achieve good marital stability. This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of interpersonal communication skills on marital stability in couples aged 0-5 years in Bekasi City using Social Penetration Theory as the basis for this research. This research uses explanatory quantitative methodology. The population in this research is the people of Bekasi City who are married. The samples used were 100 samples from people living in Bekasi City who were married with a marriage age of 0-5 years. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study show that there is a significant influence of 40.7% between interpersonal communication skills on marital stability in couples aged 0-5 years in Bekasi City.
