Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the impact of job embeddedness variables on happiness at work, innovative behavior, and quality of work life. The research employs a quantitative methodology, with a sample size of 120 employees. Data collection involves administering a questionnaire, and the analysis is conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques with the assistance of the SEM PLS program. The findings of the study indicate that (1) a favorable quality of work life significantly contributes to innovative behavior with p value of 0.000 < 0.05, T statistic 6.484 > 1.96 and a positive path coefficient of 0.488; (2) increased happiness at work has a positive and significant influence on innovative behavior with p value of 0.000 < 0.05, T statistics 4.035 > 1.96 and a positive path coefficient of 0.352; (3) a higher quality of work life positively and significantly affects job embeddedness with p value of 0.007 < 0.05, T statistic of 2.700 > 1.96 and a positive path coefficient of 0.222; (4) enhanced happiness at work is positively and significantly associated with job embeddedness with p value of 0.000 < 0.05, T statistics 4.035 > 1.96 and a positive path coefficient of 0.352; (5) engaging in innovative behavior has a positive and significant impact on job embeddedness with p value of 0.002 < 0.05, T statistic of 3.164 > 1.96 and a positive path coefficient of 0.272.
