Abstract

This documentary film work is created with the intention of showcasing the profound narrative of the emotional and cultural journey within the supporter group of Persija Jakarta, commonly known as "The Jakmania." The film aims to illustrate how The Jakmania is not merely an ordinary group of supporters but an unforgettabel part of Indonesia's football history. The Jakmania is also depicted as an inseparable element of Indonesian society and the cultural unity ethos. The film also portrays the history of The Jakmania, highlighting their fanaticism and the powerful love for their pride, the Persija Jakarta football team, shaping social reality amidst various diverse conditions. They unite in supporting Persija Jakarta, expressing their allegiance through various forms and methods. The lives of The Jakmania supporters will be documented in this documentary film titled "Bhinneka Tunggal Persija: Suara The Jakmania." The final outcome of this documentary film report also emphasizes the role of the director. A director plays a crucial role throughout the entire documentary film production process, from pre-production to production and post-production. The director must possess a strong vision for the film being crafted and effectively communicate with the production team. Additionally, the director is responsible for building good collaboration with all parties involved in the film production to ensure the smooth progression of the filmmaking process. The director also plays a pivotal role in decision-making during the production of the documentary film.
