Abstract
In realizing a better Jakarta in terms of public services, the Jakarta Provincial Government has implemented Jakarta Smart City as outlined in Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 280 of 2014 regarding the Formation, Organization, and Working Procedures of the Jakarta Smart City Management Unit. To provide better public services, the Jakarta Provincial Government's Department of Communication, Informatics, and Public Relations (Diskominfomas) launched an application called Jakarta Kini or JAKI in September 2019. The research conducted is of a quantitative nature, utilizing descriptive research and survey methods. To estimate population parameters, the technique of stratified random sampling was employed. This involves dividing the population into strata, selecting simple random samples from each stratum, and then combining them into a sample. Data collection techniques in this research included validity testing, reliability testing, correlation coefficient testing, determination coefficient testing, regression testing, and hypothesis testing. The research posed the question of the extent of the influence of Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application usage on community participation in complaint services and public services in DKI Jakarta in the year 2020. The results of the simple linear regression calculations indicated that there is an influence between Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application users and community participation in complaint services and public services in DKI Jakarta in 2020, with a value of 66.4% from the determination coefficient calculation. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing results indicated that the calculated t-value is greater than the tabulated t-value, signifying that there is an influence from Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application users on community participation in complaint services and public services in DKI Jakarta in 2020.
