Abstract
This study aims to explore the experiences of Instagram users in the children age category who engage in PDA behavior. The study provides an overview of the motives underlying PDA behavior, as well as explores other contextual factors.This research uses primary data sources obtained through interviews. The phenomenological approach is used to uncover the essence of the participants' experiences. The researcher also conducted interpretive analysis in an effort to understand the participants' PDA behavior. Triangulation of data is carried out to ensure data validity in this study.The final result of this research depicts the dynamics of participants' motives in PDA behavior. The analysis of the interviews reveals that there are many factors that influence PDA behavior, including experience, involvement of others, and attitude. Emergent themes will be examined based on findings from relevant previous research in the discussion.
