Abstract
The prevalence of gastritis in Indonesia is quite high at 40,8% or around 274.396 cases. To determine the relationship between food preference, fat consumption, and eating schedule with gastritis' symptoms among adolescent at SMA Negeri 51 Jakarta in 2023. This study used a quantitative approach with cross-sectional design that involves 100 respondents. The sampling method that is used in this study is Statified Random Sampling. Data analysis in this study used a Chi-Square Test. There is a relationship between food preference (p=0.001) and fat consumption (p=0.000) with gastritis' symptoms. There is no relationship between eating schedule with gastritis' symptoms (p=0.08). The conclusion of this study is food preference and fat consumption have a relationship with gastritis symptoms and eating schedule has no relationship with gastritis symptoms. Improve lifestyle to have good food preferences, not excessive consumption of fat, and good timing of meals to avoid symptoms of gastritis.
