Abstract
Low back pain is one of the musculoskeletal disorders, one of which is low back pain caused by bad or wrong ergonomics. Nurses are individuals who have graduated from a nursing high school carried out domestically and abroad. Various kinds of factors that can cause low back pain consist of three groups, namely individual characteristics, work and environment. This study aims to determine the factors associated with complaints of low back pain in nurses at Dr. Suyoto Hospital in 2022. This study used a cross-sectional study design with data collection techniques by total sampling with a sample of 53 respondents. Research instruments in the form of a questionnaire and OWAS observation sheets. Based on the results of bivariate analysis with chi square test, there was a relation between years of service (p = 0.007), work posture (p = 0.002) and physical activity (p = 0.023). This study concludes that complaints of low back pain in dr. Suyoto Hospital nurses in 2022 are influenced by factors of working period, work posture and physical activity. It is expected that hospitals and workers should strive to improve work postures and lack of physical activity so that they do not experience low back pain complaints.
