Abstract
Nurses who feel a heavy workload will cause dissatisfaction with work. Nurse job satisfaction is important to pay attention to because it can reduce the motivation and performance of nurses in carrying out nursing care services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Workload and Nurse Job Satisfaction. The Cross Sectional research design was used in the study with the Chi-Square test. The research was carried out in May-June 2022, with a research sample of 103 nurses in the inpatient room of Budhi Asih Hospital using Purvosive Sampling. An overview of the frequency distribution of nurse characteristics in the inpatient room of Budhi Asih Hospital was obtained data on the age of >30 years more dominant as many as 67 respondents (65%), female nurses more 82 respondents (79.6%), the highest level of nurse education in the D3 inpatient room was 68 respondents (66%), the working period of nurses <10 years more dominant was 70 respondents (68%), the marriage status of married nurses 89 respondents (86.4%). The conclusion obtained in this study is the relationship between Workload and Nurse Job Satisfaction in the Inpatient Room of Budhi Asih Hospital Jakarta (p value = 0.015). It is hoped that management can increase nursing staff in the inpatient room so that nurses feel a lighter workload and job satisfaction when doing their jobs.
