Abstract

Andra Soni-Dimyati's victory is an interesting phenomenon in the Banten Regional Election considering that in the early stages of the contest, the electability and popularity of candidates were very low. This study aims to analyze how political, social, and economic capital were utilized in their winning strategy. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and literature review. The analysis employs Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of capital and Adman Nursal’s political marketing framework. The findings show that political, social, and economic capital were interconnected and mutually reinforcing. These forms of capital were strategically mobilized through push, pull, and pass political marketing approaches. The study concludes that the effective integration and utilization of capital contributed significantly to the electoral success of Andra Soni-Dimyati.
