Abstract
The third trimester is the stage of pregnancy where many pregnant women face psychological issues such as anxiety due to increasing physiological and psychological changes, and it has the potential to raise the risk of pregnancy and childbirth complications. Non-pharmacological interventions are an alternative because they are safe and can reduce anxiety without the use of medication. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the combination of butterfly hug therapy and natural music therapy on anxiety levels in pregnant women in the third trimester. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-test post-test approach. The respondents in this study consisted of 31 pregnant women in their third trimester in the UPT Puskesmas Situ Gintung area. The intervention carried out in this study was a combination of butterfly hug therapy and nature music therapy. The research results show that the average pregnant mother is 28 years old with an average gestational age of 33 weeks, most of whom are nuliparous mothers (41.9%) and multigravida (67.7%), the majority work as housewives (77.4%), and have a high school education (71%). The average anxiety score before the intervention was 27.32, which falls into the moderate anxiety category, then decreased to 19.87, which falls into the mild anxiety category after the intervention, with a score reduction of 7.425. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a significant difference in scores before and after the intervention. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant effect of the combination of butterfly hug therapy and nature music therapy on reducing anxiety levels in third-trimester pregnant women.
