Abstract

Menarche is an important stage in adolescent girls' development, marked by physical changes and emotional responses. Lack of reproductive health education can lead to low knowledge, emotional unpreparedness, and negative attitudes towards menarche. This study aims to determine the effect of the Healthopoly education package on knowledge, emotional responses, and attitudes towards menarche among adolescent girls at SDN Tanjung Barat 04 Pagi. This study is a quantitative study with a Quasi Experimental One-Group Pretest–Posttest design. The study sample consisted of 34 respondents using total sampling technique. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test for the knowledge and attitude variables and the paired t-test for the emotional response variable. The results showed an increase in knowledge from a mean of 8.65 (95% CI = 8.21–9.08) to 11.94 (95% CI = 11.37–12.51), emotional responses from 27.56 (95% CI = 26.54–28.57) to 35.50 (95% CI = 34.53–36.47), and attitudes from 39.85 (95% CI = 38.55–41.15) to 47.29 (95% CI = 46.01–48.57). The statistical test results showed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) for all variables. This indicates a significant effect of the Healthopoly education package on the knowledge, emotional response, and attitude of adolescent girls in dealing with menarche.
