Abstract
Inclusivity emphasizes that every individual has the right to access resources, participate, and perform social roles. However, people with visual impairments still face various barriers that limit their access and participation. Therefore, efforts are needed to reduce these barriers, beginning with the formation of public caring attitudes toward people with visual impairments, which can be developed through educational content such as “POV: Helping a Low-Vision Person Sort Money” on the TikTok account @davidmuara. This study aims to examine whether the educational content “POV: Helping a Low-Vision Person Sort Money” on the TikTok account @davidmuara has a significant influence on caring attitudes toward people with visual impairments. The theory applied in this research is the Entertainment-Education Theory. The method used is explanatory quantitative research, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who follow the account. The results indicate that the educational content “POV: Helping a Low-Vision Person Sort Money” on the TikTok account @davidmuara has a substantial influence on caring attitudes toward people with visual impairments, accounting for 51.7%. The findings also indicate that video-based content tends to have a greater role in shaping caring attitudes than captions.
