Abstract
The advancement of information technology has significantly impacted various sectors, including the business industry. Effective business strategies, particularly in promotion and sales management, are crucial to success. At Hasanah Sari Bakery, promotional activities and sales data processing are still conducted manually, resulting in limited promotional reach and inefficient transaction processes. This study aims to design a web-based bread ordering information system to address existing issues, such as limited promotions, recording errors, delayed order processing, and ineffective stock management. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Requirement analysis was conducted using the PIECES framework, while system design utilized Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams such as Use Case Diagram, Class Diagram, and Sequence Diagram. The user interface was designed using wireframes created in Figma to ensure a user-friendly and interactive layout. The system was implemented using PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database. System testing was carried out using the Black Box Testing method. The result of this research is a web-based ordering system capable of recording transactions in real-time, managing orders and inventory accurately, and improving operational speed and customer service. This system is expected to serve as an effective digital solution for bakeries to enhance competitiveness and expand their market reach in the digital era.
