Abstract
One of the most important things to do after giving birth is to exclusively breastfeed the baby. Mothers who give birth by caesarean section often experience delays in breastfeeding. Insufficient breast milk production and insufficient breast milk production, caused by a lack of oxytocin and prolactin hormone stimulation, are common obstacles in breastfeeding. Aim: This study aims to apply evidence-based nursing in the form of a marmet massage technique with nursing care provided to post-cesarean section mothers to stimulate breast milk production. Methods: The intervention was given to 2 patients, managed and resume, for 3 consecutive days with a 12-hour interval in the morning and evening, each for 15-30 minutes. Results: Significant results were obtained in the amount of breast milk production measured using pumping after the Marmet Massage Technique was performed on both patients. Both said they felt more relaxed and gained confidence to be able to breastfeed their babies who were cared for separately after getting positive results on breast milk production after the intervention. Recommendations: The marmet massage technique is recommended as a non-pharmacological alternative for post-cesarean section mothers who experience problems with breast milk production.
