Abstract
Background: Hypertension or high blood pressure is one of the major health problems that has a major impact on mortality rates worldwide. This condition is often referred to as a "silent killer" because it develops without clear symptoms but can trigger complications such as stroke, heart disease, and kidney failure. According to WHO, the prevalence of hypertension continues to increase every year, hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases with the highest prevalence according to the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas). Risk factors such as unhealthy lifestyles, consumption of foods high in salt, lack of physical activity, and genetic factors also worsen the incidence of hypertension. Method: This study used a case study method for Mrs. A with a case of Hypertension at RSPPN Panglima Besar Soedirman. On February 27, 2025 to March 01, 2025. Data collection was obtained by interview, observation, physical examination and documentation. Results: The results of the client's focus assessment complained of headaches to the nape of the neck, difficulty sleeping, feeling weak and tired. The nursing diagnoses established in Mrs. A were acute pain, disturbed sleep patterns, non-compliance, and unstable glucose levels. Nursing interventions carried out by teaching non-pharmacological in the form of deep breathing relaxation techniques. The implementation of nursing is carried out in accordance with the nursing interventions that have been made and conducting nursing evaluations for 3x24 hours, the problem of pain in Mrs. A can be resolved. Conclusion: : Nursing care given to Mrs. A can be resolved and Mrs. A can carry out the interventions that have been taught independently.
