Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of organizational culture, employee engagement, and organizational citizen behavior (OCB) on the work-life balance of employees at PT Surya Madistrindo, using Smart PLS as the analytical tool. The sample used in this study consists of 158 employees selected through purposive sampling. This research adopts a quantitative approach with path analysis techniques using the Smart PLS software to test the relationships between variables. The results indicate that organizational culture, employee engagement, and OCB significantly influence work-life balance, both directly and indirectly. Employee engagement has the most significant effect on work-life balance, followed by OCB and organizational culture. The study also found that employee engagement acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between organizational culture and OCB with work-life balance. These findings provide practical contributions to the management of PT Surya Madistrindo in designing policies that support employee well-being, particularly in enhancing the balance between work and personal life. The limitations of this study include the use of a cross-sectional design, which cannot show changes in the relationships between variables over time, as well as the sample being limited to one company.
