Abstract

This study is a quantitative study that aims to analyze Cashless Society Behavior in Generation Z in the Management Department of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. This study used 150 active students of the Management Department of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, class of 2021, as respondents. The hypothesis in this study is to determine the partial effect of variable X on Y and the mediation of variable Z, so the tests used are the r-square test and the t-test. The data analysis technique used is PLS-based SEM. The results of the study show: (1) financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial behavior, (2) lifestyle does not have a significant effect on financial behavior, (3) risk preferences do not have a significant effect on financial behavior, (4) locus of control has a positive and significant effect on financial behavior, (5) financial literacy does not have a significant effect on financial behavior mediated by locus of control, (6) lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on financial behavior mediated by locus of control, (7) risk preferences have a significant effect on financial behavior mediated by locus of control of active students majoring in Management, UPNVJ, 2021 academic year.
