Abstract
Online buying and selling transactions that show a fact that buying and selling activities today have developed. This is due to the rapid changes in digital�based information technology. Online business is an activity that utilizes technological sophistication, using the internet makes it easier for us to run it because online business does not bring together sellers and buyers but only through electronic media as Laratel did. The purpose of this study was to determine the mechanism of online buying and selling transactions in Laratel in an Islamic economic perspective. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of the study showed that there were cases of discrepancies in the mechanism of online buying and selling transactions with Laratel, or more precisely, the description of Laratel's products with the original products sent to the buyer had quite fatal differences, such as size or material. Although this difference is caused by an error in the production process, Laratel can be said to be negligent in it because it did not anticipate and provide appropriate compensation to fulfill transaction analysis in an Islamic economic perspective but Laratel itself is currently providing contacts for customers who get production errors from Laratel but Laratel itself does not anticipate and provide appropriate compensation to its customers
