Abstract
This research was motivated by data on the increasing number of cases of sexual violence against minors and the ingrained negative stereotypes and taboos when hearing the word sex. The family as the closest circle and first learning institution for a child needs to be aware of this urgency and start building positive communication in delivering early childhood sex education. The theory used is the Family Relationship Schema Theory. Research concepts include family interpersonal communication, family roles, and early childhood sex education communication. Use of descriptive qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. Obtaining data through in-depth interviews and field observations. The research results show that families A, B, and C as the millennial generation have a more open and positive view of early childhood sex education. Early childhood sex education is delivered in an interactive way. The communication that has developed between children and parents in these three families has created good intimacy, openness and equality, resulting in a high level of conversation orientation and conformity orientation. Referring to theory, these two orientations form a Consensual Type family communication pattern.
