Abstract

The rapid technological developments make it easier for people to access information through various information media. The aim of this research is to analyze whether there is an influence of Dr Richard Lee's credibility on attitudes towards "No BPA Free" gallon content on YouTube. The use of source credibility is one of the factors that causes changes in a person's attitude. The theory of this study uses the theory of source credibility. This research uses explanatory quantitative methods with purposive sampling techniques. The research method used was a survey of 100 respondents. The sample in this study were YouTube users, namely viewers of the "No BPA Free" gallon content on Dr. Richard Lee’s YouTube channel and 16-64 years. Based on the research results, it is known that 70.2% of variable Y (Audience Attitude) is influenced by variable X (Dr Richard Lee's Credibility). Meanwhile, the remaining 29.8% (100%-70.2%) was determined by other factors not included in this study. This shows that Dr. Richard Lee as a communicator has high credibility so he is able to influence the attitudes of the audience.
