Abstract

Job satisfaction is a person's emotional reaction to various aspects of their job. The job satisfaction of nurses plays an important role in encouraging the growth of an appropriate work environment in health services. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors associated with the job satisfaction of nurses at Berkah Regional General Hospital Pandeglang in 2024. This research used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional study design. Data were analyzed univariate, bivariate with chi-square, and multivariate with logistic regression. The results showed a significant relationship between policy and administration (p-value = 0.000), work environment (p-value = 0.000), salary or compensation (p-value = 0.000), interpersonal relationships (p-value = 0.001), achievement (p-value = 0.000), recognition (p-value = 0.000), and responsibility (p-value = 0.023). Meanwhile, the variables of age, gender, education, marital status, tenure, and supervision do not have a significant relationship. The most dominant variable is the achievement variable (OR = 9.479). This means that nurses with good work performance have a 9 times greater chance of being satisfied with their work. Hospital management can increase nurses' job satisfaction through evaluation and improvement of factors related to job satisfaction to achieve optimal job satisfaction.
