Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of Suga BTS's celebrity diplomacy in the #noiphone campaign on Samsung's stock movements using the theories of celebrity diplomacy, source credibility, and behavioral finance. The method used is quantitative causality. The sampling technique employed is purposive sampling. The researcher used five stages of analysis: data collection, preprocessing (data cleaning), data labeling, data testing (correlation and regression), result evaluation, and data presentation. The results of the study show that the use of celebrity diplomacy in shaping public sentiment in the #noiphone campaign has proven to have a significant influence on Samsung consumers' decisions to purchase or invest in Samsung stock. Analysis using the Random Forest algorithm indicates that public sentiment in response to Suga's diplomacy is divided into two: positive sentiment has a strong influence (84.95%), and negative sentiment has a moderate influence (51%). The study also shows an 11.57% increase in Samsung's stock after the #noiphone campaign was conducted.
