Abstract

The documentary film "BREAKING THE SILENCE: Mental Illness Behind the Smiles of Employees" delves into the phenomenon of mental illness among workers, often overlooked by management and company owners. The director of photography focuses on the shooting plan, filming activities, and all aspects related to the visual aspects of the film. The main goal of this film is to inspire viewers to be more attentive to mental health in the workplace and encourage them to vocalize their concerns about this issue. The hope is that the film not only provides profound insights but also serves as a call to action that motivates viewers to actively advocate for positive changes in their work environment. In the pre-production stage, the primary responsibilities of the director of photography include creating the shooting plan and assisting the director in determining the appropriate shots according to the script. During production, the director of photography operates and adjusts the camera according to on-site conditions, providing approved shots in collaboration with the director. In the post-production stage, the director of photography guides the editor in selecting footage to facilitate the editing process.
