Abstract
Early Mobilization is one of the components of a comprehensive intervention in ABCDEF Bundle. Nurses are one of the main roles in the implementation of early mobilization to initiate, coordinate, and become a managers. However, nurses’ behavior in the implementation of early mobilization is still lacking. This study aims to determine and analyze the relationship between factors that can influence nurses’ behavior in early mobilization of patient in ICU. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design. The sample in this study were 48 critical care nurses. The instruments used were knowledge, attitude, behavior, perceived barriers, and NASA-TLX questionnaires. The results of the Spearman Rank test showed a p-value > 0.05 on all factors, specifically knowledge (p=0.173), attitude (p=0.296), perceived barriers (p=0.760), length of works experience (p=0.621), and workload (p=0.899). There is no correlation between knowledge, attitude, perceived barriers, length of work experience in ICU, and workload with nurse behavior in the ICU. The suggestion in this research is the health institution such as general hospitals can provide special training on early mobilization for ICU nurses so that the knowledge they have can be applied properly.
