Abstract

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an action that can increase the chances of survival in Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) victims. The lack of skills of the CPR is an obstacle in providing help in OHCA cases. To improve these skills, the right learning methods are needed, one of which is blended learning method that combines face-to-face and online learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of training using blended learning method on the CPR skill score in high school students. This study uses a quasi-experiment design with a posttest only control design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a total sample of 52 students. The total sample was divided into two groups consisting of 26 respondents each. The results of the statistical test using Independent t-test showed p=0.022 which means that there was a significant difference between training using the blended learning method and the conventional method in the CPR skill score. The group that used the blended learning method had a higher average score compared to the group that used the conventional method.
