Abstract
In an era of technological advancement, an interesting phenomenon has emerged among muzakki. Although Jakarta has witnessed significant technological development and globalisation, there is an interesting trend among Jakarta muzakki who still prefer to transact zakat fitrah manually at the Mosque. This study aims to explain the preference of zakat fitrah payment. The population in this study are mosque leaders, muzakki, and zakat experts. The approach used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were conducted by conducting interviews with sources. The results showed that personal factors and psychological factors are the two strongest factors that influence muzakki to pay their zakat manually to the mosque.
