Abstract
Background: Pregnant women will experience discomfort in the third trimester, namely frequent urination, vaginal discharge, constipation, swollen legs, hemorrhoids, shortness of breath and back pain. However, back pain or low back pain is the most frequently reported symptom in pregnant women, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy. The cause of back pain has been identified as uterine growth. As the uterus grows, the ligaments are unable to support the body, resulting in back pain. If left untreated it will have an impact on the mother and fetus. This research was conducted to treat low back pain with nursing care for pregnant women. Method: This research uses a case study method in providing nursing care to Mrs. A (G1P0A0) with the problem of low back pain in the third trimester of pregnancy in the Cijantung area, East Jakarta City on 28 February 2024 - 01 March 2024. Data collection through interviews, observation, physical examination and documentation. Results: The main nursing diagnosis found was acute pain related to physiological injurious agents. The nursing intervention carried out was massage effleurage. The implementation was carried out in accordance with the nursing interventions that had been prepared and carried out a nursing evaluation with the results of the acute pain being partially resolved in 3x40 minutes. Conclusion: The care given to Mrs. A based on nursing care can be partially resolved, and the pain is reduced to a scale of 3
