Abstract
The study found that 25.5% of the chief's time was spent on patient affairs performing many short and fragmented tasks. Given the number of tasks, the head of the room must be able to complete his duties by delegating to competent nursing staff. In these conditions, the function of the head of the room is very necessary for the organization to be able to complete the assigned tasks or work. Directing and delegating assignments to staff will be better if there is a buildup of tasks to be completed. In nursing practice, delegation involves giving tasks or obligations to nurses so that they can carry out nursing care procedures or tasks. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the management function of the head of the room at Bekasi Regional Hospital. This implementation was carried out using the author's interview and observation methods. The results of this implementation show that with the existence of standardized formats such as SOP and letters regarding delegation in the lotus room, there is a clear framework and clear legal evidence. The evaluation and follow-up of this implementation is that the letter form and delegation SOP will be forwarded to the nursing committee. Hospital management is expected to give consideration to this SOP and delegation letter form.
