Abstract

This research is performed to examine whether financial performance of the company before and after right issue is significantly different. The financial performance representated by six financial ratio that categorized into four kind or measurement such as liquidity, activity, Provitability and market ratio. The samples are consist by 20 companies which execute rights issue from 2009 until 2011 that listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Testing method that used is the average difference test (paired sample t test). The result of this research which measured by current ratio, asset turnover ratio, net profit ratio, return on equity and earnings per share shows no significant differences of financial performance before and after right issue.
