Abstract

Based on a survey by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) in 2017, out of 262 million people in Indonesia, 54.68% of them use the internet. In terms of the use of the internet in the economic field, a survey of 41.04% of the internet can help work. One of the digitalization within the company is the use of communication technology in the company's internal communications. Starbucks Indonesia company developed a technology called IMAP. IMAP technology is used to meet the information needs of partners (as Starbucks employees) in Indonesia. Through this, it encourages researchers to conduct research on the effectiveness of the use of IMAP technology on the level of information dissemination. An exploratory quantitative approach with data collection methods using a questionnaire conducted on employees of Starbucks Indonesia District 39 as the research sample. Sampling is done through census sampling. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires distributed via social media whatsapp to 50 respondents. The results show that the research hypothesis test proves that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, there is an effectiveness generated by the use of IMAP technology on the level of information dissemination of Starbucks Indonesia employees.
