Abstract
A Web based sales information system is an online sales system that allows customers to browse products without coming directly to the store and buy products without having to meet directly with the seller. Information systems play a very important role in business activities. MSME Wendy's Cake is one of the micro-businesses located in Jakarta whose sales methods and processing transaction data still use conventional methods, so that this takes longer and is not effective. The purpose of this study is to design a web based sales information system for Wendy's Cake SMEs in order to support smooth sales transactions in the business. The design of this web based sales information system is a step to increase sales and provide benefits for the business because sales are not only made at the Wendy's Cake location but also through the website. The results of this study are to implement a web based sales information system at Wendy's Cake SMEs with a system display that is easy to understand by users so that it can make it easier to process product data, categories, transactions, and payments. This information system can also provide services to customers to facilitate ordering and simplify the transaction process that can be done anywhere and anytime.
