Abstract
Covid-19 or Coronavirus Disease 2019 is a contagious viral infectious disease caused by symptoms of the acute respiratory tract coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV2) and has never been confirmed in humans. One of the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic is the increasing prevalence of anxiety among family members of ICU patients. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the family anxiety level of ICU patients at the Tangerang Regency General Hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2022. This research is descriptive of correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 65 respondents using accidental sampling technique. Data was collected using the DASS-42 questionnaire which was distributed directly. Data were analyzed using Chi Square test. The results of the analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between age (P value = 0.529), occupation (P value = 0.335), education (P value = 0.395), health/disease diagnosis (P value = 0.224), access to information (P value = 0.168), and the environment (P value = 0.398) with the level of anxiety in the family of ICU patients. It is hoped that hospitals can take special efforts to maintain the mental health of ICU patients' families, such as providing clear information, providing an adequate waiting room.
