Abstract
Nutritional status is a condition of a balance between the intake of nutrients in food with the needs of the body. This nutritional state can be influenced by several factors including parents income level and children eating pattern. School-age children are one of the groups of children who are vulnerable to the occurrence of nutritional problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parents income level and children's eating pattern with nutritional status in school age children at SD Negeri Situgadung IV. The method used in this study is Cross Sectional with a sample of 79 respondents through Probability Sampling with Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data was collected through Google Form using a Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) and anthropometric measurements. This study used univariate analysis to determine the frequency distribution and average while bivariate analysis used Chi Square test. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between parents income level (p-value 1,000) and children's eating pattern (p-value 0,199) with the nutritional status of school-age children at SD Negeri Situgadung IV. Researchers in the future are expected to conduct research on other factors that can affect nutritional status by using the Mix Methods method.
