Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of United Nations Human Rights Council Resolution 16/18 on the Equality Act 2010 through the Tell MAMA organization during the 2023–2025 period. Theories of social integration and international regimes, as well as the concept of human rights, are employed as the theoretical framework for this study to analyze the presented data and facts. The research method employed in this study utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review as the data collection technique. This study demonstrates that the impact of Resolution 16/18 within the Equality Act 2010 as an effort to prevent Islamophobic and anti-immigrant movements in the UK through the Tell MAMA organization for the 2023–2025 period is evidenced by: (1) Fostering a harmonious social structure (2) Fostering interfaith tolerance (3) Protecting minority groups. The results of this study indicate that Resolution 16/18 has a significant impact on addressing Islamophobia and anti-immigrant sentiment in the UK.
