Abstract

Advancements in information technology have significantly impacted the business sector in Indonesia, including the operational activities of MSMEs. Nevertheless, some MSMEs still rely on manual processes to monitor product availability. A case in point is Sa Hani, a shop specializing in Yogyakarta souvenirs, which manages its inventory manually. This approach results in poor documentation and carries the risk of errors and data loss. This study aims to digitize the inventory management process at Sa Hani using a website-based system developed via the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, encompassing requirements planning, system design, development, and implementation. A system requirements analysis was conducted using the PIECES framework to comprehensively map out issues and solutions. The results demonstrate that the website-based inventory management system provides real-time data—including supplier details, product information, categories, current stock levels, and inbound/outbound product tracking—as well as report generation capabilities. These features enable users to easily access information directly, without relying on other staff members.
