Abstract
PD Agen Minuman Segar Jaya faces inventory control problems in the form of stockouts on several products, which may result in unmet customer demand. Therefore, an appropriate inventory control system is required to maintain product availability while improving inventory cost efficiency. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach using sales, demand, ordering cost, and holding cost data from January to December 2025. The methods applied were ABC Analysis and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). The results showed that, out of 87 products analyzed, category A consisted of 13 products contributing 68.77% of the annual consumption value, category B consisted of 17 products contributing 21.34%, and category C consisted of 57 products contributing 9.89%. Based on the classification results, Aqua 19-Liter Gallon, Le Minerale 15-Liter Gallon, and Vit Cup (1 Carton) were selected for EOQ analysis because they belonged to category A and frequently experienced stockouts. The EOQ calculations resulted in optimal order quantities of 1,943 units, 1,364 units, and 864 units, respectively, with a total inventory cost of Rp4,121,444 per year. This amount was lower than the company's actual inventory cost of Rp11,245,856, resulting in an inventory cost efficiency of 63%.
