Abstract
Banten Province recorded the lowest Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) among provinces on Java Island, a condition that is contradictory given its status as one of Indonesia's major industrial regions. This research aims to analyze the influence of Average Years of Schooling (RLS), District/City Minimum Wage (UMK), Gross Regional Domestic Product at Constant Prices Rate (PDRB ADHK), and Number of Industries on TPAK across 8 districts/cities in Banten Province over the 2013–2024 period. Panel data were analyzed using a quantitative approach through the Random Effects Model (REM), with Feasible Generalized Least Squares (FGLS) applied as the estimation correction method. Based on the estimation results, it was found that RLS has a negative and significant effect on TPAK, while UMK and the growth rate of PDRB ADHK were found to have no significant effect. The Number of Industries was found to have a positive and significant effect on TPAK. Simultaneously, all variables were found to have a significant effect on TPAK in Banten Province.
