Abstract
Brewlang Coffee Shop is a food and beverage business currently facing challenges with its manual ordering process, resulting in service delays, order recording errors, and inefficiencies in transaction data management. Consequently, there is a need for a website-based ordering information system to enhance service effectiveness and quality. This research aims to design and develop a website-based ordering information system for Brewlang Coffee Shop using the Waterfall methodology. The Waterfall method was selected due to its systematic and structured development stages, which include requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The analysis phase employed an approach to identify system requirements that align with existing business processes. The outcome of this research is a website-based ordering information system that facilitates online ordering for customers and assists management in handling order data with greater accuracy, speed, and efficiency. The system also features menu management, order processing, and real-time transaction reporting capabilities. Black Box Testing results indicate that all primary system functions operate according to the established functional requirements, demonstrating the system's ability to optimally support ordering processes, transaction management, and report generation. Implementation of this system is expected to improve service quality, minimize errors, and facilitate more informed decision-making at Brewlang Coffee Shop.
