Abstract
This study investigates how financial literacy, financial inclusion, and the use of digital financial technology influence the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Jakarta, Indonesia. A quantitative research design was employed by collecting primary data through questionnaires distributed to MSME owners using purposive sampling. Of the 149 returned questionnaires, 100 met the predefined sampling criteria and were subsequently analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The findings reveal that both financial literacy and financial inclusion have a positive and statistically significant effect on MSME performance. In contrast, the use of digital financial technology does not demonstrate a significant relationship with business performance. These results suggest that adopting digital financial technologies alone is insufficient to enhance MSME performance unless it is accompanied by adequate financial knowledge and access to formal financial services. Accordingly, strengthening financial literacy and expanding financial inclusion remain essential priorities for improving MSME performance, while the effectiveness of digital financial technology adoption among business owners warrants further evaluation. Keywords: Financial literacy; Financial inclusion; Digital financial technology; MSME performance.
