Abstract
Risky sexual behavior among adolescents is a significant public health issue that may lead to unintended pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and various psychosocial problems. Such behavior is influenced by multiple factors, including internal and external determinants. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between father involvement, peer influence, and self-efficacy with risky sexual behavior among students of SMA Negeri 15 Depok. This research employed a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 220 respondents were selected using stratified proportional random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires measuring father involvement, peer influence, self-efficacy, and risky sexual behavior. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The results indicated that father involvement and peer influence were not significantly associated with risky sexual behavior (p > 0.05). In contrast, self-efficacy showed a statistically significant relationship with risky sexual behavior (p = 0.018), indicating that adolescents with higher levels of self-efficacy tended to exhibit lower levels of risky sexual behavior. This study concludes that self-efficacy is a crucial internal factor in preventing risky sexual behavior among adolescents. Therefore, strengthening adolescents’ self-efficacy through school-based education and health promotion programs is essential to support healthier behavioral outcomes.
