Abstract

This research employs a quantitative descriptive analytical approach using the Whole Network Analysis method within the framework of Communication Network Analysis. The population and sample for this study consist of all 100 members of the dairy cattle farmer group in the Kunak, Situ Udik Village, Bogor Regency, West Java, utilizing a census method. The dairy farming sector in Bogor Regency, particularly in the Kunak, faces challenges regarding the suboptimal implementation of the circular economy program (3R: Recycle, Reduce, Reuse) and a communication gap related to this initiative. This situation necessitates the identification of key actors who play a vital role in disseminating information. The study aims to map the roles of actors within the communication network structure for circular economy sustainability among the dairy cattle farmer group in the Kunak, based on a sociogram network analysis using UCINET version 6.813. Furthermore, it seeks to identify the actor who has the potential to effectively communicate the circular economy program to the farmer group based on the three components of 3R. The data obtained will be analyzed using four centrality measures: degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality, and eigenvector centrality. The research findings indicate that the communication networks formed for each circular economy component reveal varying roles and centrality values for each actor. The results of this study indicate that there are actors in the Kunak dairy farmers group in West Java Regency who are cosmopolitan, namely actors with ID 46 and ID 63. Meanwhile, actors who can be classified as having a role as localites are actors with ID 20, ID 29, ID 24, ID 31, ID 28, and ID 30. The results of the study indicate that the centrality position of the actors is within the group.
