Abstract
Menstrual disorders are a common reproductive health problem among female workers and may adversely affect well-being and work productivity, particularly in hospital settings characterized by high physical and psychological demands. This study aimed to analyze the determinants of menstrual disorders among female workers at Hospital X in Jakarta. A cross-sectional design was employed, involving 87 female workers who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study was conducted from October 2025 to January 2026. Data on work-related stress, work fatigue, physical activity, and menstrual disorders were collected using self-administered questionnaires, while workplace temperature was measured using a thermohygrometer. Multivariate data analysis was performed using multiple logistic regression for work-related stress (aPOR = 3.579; 95% CI: 0.8740—14.655), physical activity (aPOR = 5.811; 95% CI: 1.040—32.454), and workplace temperature (aPOR = 0.744; 95% CI: 0.266—2.083). The results showed that 56 of 87 respondents (66.4%) experienced menstrual disorders. Physical activity emerged as the dominant factor associated with menstrual disorders. Mapping physical activity intensity across work units and implementing microbreaks are recommended as strategies to manage high physical activity among female workers.
