Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the influence of Indonesian coal production, Indonesian coal reference price, Indonesian labor productivity, and currency exchange rate on the value of coal exports to India, covering the time period from 1994 to 2024. Secondary data on an annual basis were obtained from BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics), the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and Refinitiv. The study applied the Error Correction Model (ECM) method, intended to analyze the influence of each variable in the short term and long term. The research findings indicate that in the short term, the variables of Indonesian coal production, Indonesian labor productivity, and currency exchange rate are not significant to the value of coal exports to India. However, the Indonesian coal reference price variable has a significant influence on the value of coal exports to India. Meanwhile, in the long term, the variables of Indonesian coal reference price and Indonesian labor productivity have a significant influence on the value of coal exports to India, but the variables of Indonesian coal production and currency exchange rate have not relation on the value of coal exports to India
