Abstract
This study employs a quantitative approach aimed at analyzing the influence of liquidity, capital structure, and interest rates on profitability in automotive and component sub-sector companies. The independent variables consist of liquidity, proxied by the Current Ratio (CR); capital structure, measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER); and the average interest rate. The dependent variable in this study is profitability, proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in a total of 19 automotive and component companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2024 period. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression with the assistance of Eviews 13 software. The findings indicate that liquidity and capital structure have a significant negative effect on profitability, while interest rates do not show a significant effect on profitability.
