Abstract
Casa de Luma is a photography service business whose operational processes, from booking entries to turnover calculation, are still conducted manually using spreadsheets. This limitation leads to inefficiencies, a vulnerability to data entry errors, and restricts ease of access for customers. The objective of this research is to design and build a web-based photography service information system integrated with a Point of Sale (POS) to automate business processes and enhance service quality. The system development employs the Waterfall method, with problem analysis using the PIECES framework and system design utilizing UML. This system is built using the Laravel framework, the PHP programming language, and a MySQL database. With this system, Casa de Luma Studio can significantly improve operational efficiency, minimize the potential for errors, and provide better and more convenient access for customers to conduct transactions. The final application includes key features such as online booking, admin approval workflows, role-based access control (RBAC) for staff, a walk-in POS interface, and a dynamic financial reporting dashboard for the owner.
