Abstract

This study was a descriptive-analytic study with a cross-sectional design. The study subjects were elderly individuals aged ≥60 years residing at Budi Mulia 1 Service who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Sampling was conducted using a simple random sampling technique, with a total of 35 respondents. Anxiety levels were measured using the Geriatric Anxiety Inventory (GAI), physical activity levels were assessed using the Physical Activity Scale for the Elderly (PASE), and independence levels were evaluated using the Barthel Index. Bivariate analysis (Mann Whitney Test) was performed to assess differences in mean physical activity and independence scores based on anxiety levels.
