Abstract

The waste management process at the UPTD TPST Banyumas is the implementation of an organizational communication model. This model strengthens the communication process between individuals. The process of message delivery is carried out through interaction by creating and generating meaning with the same objective. Effective and efficient waste management leads to benefits aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 11 on urban and settlement development, thereby contributing to a livable space for sustainable communities. This research is a qualitative case study method, with the subject being the UPTD TPST Banyumas and the object being the organizational communication strategies used by the UPTD TPST Banyumas in the context of supporting SDG 11. Based on the research conducted, the findings indicate that organizational communication at the UPTD TPST BLE Banyumas Regency is already effective in every process. Additionally, the strategies employed include two-way communication, modern communication media, conducting briefings, and reducing noise or delays in communication as supporting factors for the implementation of sustainable waste management processes.
